1977년 Systematic College로 시작한 SEGI대학은 몇 개 안 되는 국립대학에 입학하지 못한 학생들이 고등교육과 직업교육을 받을 수 있는 유일한 곳이었습니다. 전국적으로 학원식으로 산재해 있던 캠퍼스를 주요 지역에 모아서 5 star대학이 되었습니다.

5개 캠퍼스에 약 27,500명의 학생이 재학하고 있으며, 50여 개국에서 온 국제학생도 약 5,000명 정도 있습니다.
캠퍼스 및 주요시설
본교는 KL시내에서 40분 거리의 Kota Damansara 에 있고, Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Sarawak, Sere Kembangan 등 5개의 캠퍼스가 있습니다.

입학신청 서류들은 다음과 같습니다.

7) 입학신청비 RM2,700
고등학교 내신성적, O레벨 결과, 검정고시 성적으로 입학신청할 수 있으며, 심사후 합격여부를 통보해줍니다. 영어공인성적이 없어도 지원가능하며 자체 영어테스트(EPT)를 거쳐서 영어능력이 부족하면 자체 어학연수원에 입학하는 조건으로 입학할 수 있습니다.
등록금 및 학비
학비는 대체로 전공에 따라 약간 차이가 있으나 연간 7백만~8백만원정도 입니다. 영국대학과정 2+1로 할 경우 2년간 SEGI에서 1,500만원, 영국에서 1년간 3,000만원을 예상합니다.
기숙사 및 숙박시설
기숙사비는 2인1실로 에어컨 유무와 방의 크기에 따라 월 20만원~30만원 합니다.

LANGUAGE Course
영어능력이 부족한 학생을 위한 어학과정이 잘 되어 있습니다. 어학과정을 하는 기간에도 정규학생이며 기숙사에서 지낼 수 있습니다.
Intensive English Program으로 Mon to Fri 8:30AM to 3:00PM Level 당 8주, 4Level이 있고, 개강은 매 2개월에 한번씩 있습니다.
PROGRAMMES AT SEGI UNIVERSITY EDUCATION GROUP
다른 대학에서 개설하지 않는 안경학(Optometry) 전공이 있습니다. 그리고 한국대학에서 2학년이상 마치고 같은 전공으로 올 경우 대학2학년으로 편입가능합니다. 예비대학을 하지 않아도 되어서 시간 단축이 가능하며 SEGI대학 졸업장과 영국 Abartay DunDee 대학의 졸업장을 받아서 복수학위소지자가 됩니다.
